Dynamic speed limit for vehicles and autonomous vehicles

A system comprising:

• a plurality of vehicles communicatively coupled to transmit real-time data that is captured by each of the plurality of vehicles, wherein the captured real-time data is indicative of a driving environment associated with a roadway being traversed by the plurality of vehicles;
• and
• at least one of the plurality of vehicles comprising a control unit configured to:
• receive data representing a plurality of speed limits, the data generated by two or more vehicles of the plurality of vehicles based on the captured real-time data from the plurality of vehicles;
• dynamically determine an aggregate speed limit for the at least one of the plurality of vehicles based on the received data representing the plurality of speed limits and an aggregation of the captured real-time data from the plurality of vehicles by correlating the received data representing the plurality of speed limits to identified divergences in the captured real-time data;
• and
• automatically perform a driving operation for the at least one vehicle of the plurality of vehicles in accordance with the aggregate speed limit, wherein the driving operation causes the at least one vehicle of the plurality of vehicles to move at the aggregate speed limit.
