Claims11
A method of decreasing stunning in a heart of a subject, comprising:
- administering a composition comprising a nanoparticle and mitochondria to the subject in an amount sufficient to decrease stunning of the heart, wherein the nanoparticle is coupled to the outer membrane of the mitochondria, wherein the mitochondria are respiration competent and wherein the nanoparticle is iron oxide nanoparticle, gold based nanoparticle or platinum based nanoparticle.
