Abstract
A dihydrogen storage and retrieval method includes at least a step of generating (G) hydrogen by dehydrogenating hydroxyl groups of dipropylene glycol (DG) into respective carbonyl groups in order to produce a dehydrogenated substrate (SD) and gaseous dihydrogen (H2); and, a step of regenerating (R) at least a portion of the dipropylene glycol (DG) by hydrogenating the carbonyl groups into respective hydroxyl groups using the gaseous dihydrogen (H2).

A dihydrogen storage and retrieval method includes at least:
- a step of generating (G) hydrogen by dehydrogenating hydroxyl groups of dipropylene glycol (DG) into respective carbonyl groups in order to generate a dehydrogenated substrate (SD) and gaseous dihydrogen (H2);
- and
- a step of regenerating (R) at least a portion of the dipropylene glycol (DG) by hydrogenating the carbonyl groups into respective hydroxyl groups using the gaseous dihydrogen (H2).
