Abstract
A computer-implemented method for peer-to-peer (P2P) networks for the delivery of media content held in the peer-to-peer network to a vehicle in a local subgroup of the P2P network, and for providing an automated process for P2P networks for transferring of physical articles or electronic data package between vehicles traveling different routes.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method for a peer-to-peer network, the method comprising:
- accessing, by one or more processors, a local subgroup of one or more network nodes, wherein the one or more network nodes correspond to one or more client devices within proximity to a signaling device;
- determining, by the one or more processors, for at least one of the one or more network nodes of the local subgroup, that a quality of wireless connectivity of the at least one of the one or more network nodes to the signaling device is below a minimum threshold;
- updating, by the one or more processors, the local subgroup by removing the at least one of the one or more network nodes with the quality of wireless connectivity below the minimum threshold from the local subgroup;
- selecting, by the one or more processors, one or more packages of electronic media content for delivery to at least one of the network nodes of the updated local subgroup based on profile information for each identified user of the one or more client devices or based on trip information stored for at least one local subgroup profile;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors, the one or more packages of the electronic media content to at least one of the one or more client devices of the updated local subgroup.
A computer system for a peer-to-peer network, the computer system comprising:
- a memory having processor-readable instructions stored therein;
- and
- one or more processors configured to access the memory and execute the processor-readable instructions, which when executed by the one or more processors configures the one or more processors to perform a plurality of functions, including functions for:
- accessing, by the one or more processors, a local subgroup of one or more network nodes, wherein the one or more network nodes correspond to one or more client devices within proximity to a signaling device;
- determining, by the one or more processors, for at least one of the one or more network nodes of the local subgroup, that a quality of wireless connectivity of the at least one of the one or more network nodes to the signaling device is below a minimum threshold;
- updating, by the one or more processors, the local subgroup by removing the at least one of the one or more network nodes with the quality of wireless connectivity below the minimum threshold from the local subgroup;
- selecting, by the one or more processors, one or more packages of electronic media content for delivery to at least one of the network nodes of the updated local subgroup based on profile information for each identified user of the one or more client devices or based on trip information stored for at least one local subgroup profile;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors, the one or more packages of the electronic media content to at least one of the one or more client devices of the updated local subgroup.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions for a peer-to-peer network, the instructions comprising:
- accessing, by one or more processors, a local subgroup of one or more network nodes, wherein the one or more network nodes correspond to one or more client devices within proximity to a signaling device;
- determining, by the one or more processors, for at least one of the one or more network nodes of the local subgroup, that a quality of wireless connectivity of the at least one of the one or more network nodes to the signaling device is below a minimum threshold;
- updating, by the one or more processors, the local subgroup by removing the at least one of the one or more network nodes with the quality of wireless connectivity below the minimum threshold from the local subgroup;
- selecting, by the one or more processors, one or more packages of electronic media content for delivery to at least one of the network nodes of the updated local subgroup based on profile information for each identified user of the one or more client devices or based on trip information stored for at least one local subgroup profile;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors, the one or more packages of the electronic media content to at least one of the one or more client devices of the updated local subgroup.
