Terminal unit

A terminal unit, comprising:

• a male terminal;
• and
• a female terminal,
• the male terminal including a male-side curved contact point portion formed using a flat plate fitting, the male-side curved contact point portion being formed by bending the flat plate fitting in a plate thickness direction,
• the female terminal including a tubular insertion portion, the male terminal being inserted into the insertion portion, and a female-side curved contact point portion provided in the insertion portion, the female-side curved contact point portion contacting the male-side curved contact point portion, the male terminal further comprises planar flat portions extending in opposite direction from both widthwise ends of the male side curved contact point portion,
• the male-side curved contact point portion and the female-side curved contact point portion extending in an inserting direction of the male terminal into the insertion portion of the female terminal, and
• a width of the male terminal along a width-wise direction thereof is substantially uniform.
