Energy device control system

A system comprising:

• an energy source enclosure having one or more energy device cells and one or more internal control components inside the energy source enclosure, the one or more energy device cells configured to be coupled with one or more loads outside of the energy source enclosure via one or more first external connectors outside of the energy source enclosure;
• and
• an external control device that is external to the energy source enclosure and that is configured to be coupled with the energy source enclosure via one or more second external connectors that are external to the energy source enclosure such that the external control device is galvanically isolated from the one or more energy device cells inside the energy source enclosure,
• the external control device configured to communicate with the one or more internal control components that are inside the energy source enclosure via the one or more second external connectors to control one or more of charging or discharging of the one or more energy device cells via the one or more first external connectors wherein the one or more internal control components inside the energy source enclosure are galvanically isolated from the one or more energy device cells inside the energy source enclosure, wherein the one or more loads are higher voltage loads, and the one or more energy device cells inside the energy source enclosure are configured to be connected with one or more lower voltage loads that are outside of the energy source enclosure by the one or more second external connectors.
