Electronic device and method for displaying screen including visual object

An electronic device comprising,

• memory including one or more storage media storing instructions;
• at least one processor including processing circuitry;
• and
• a display including organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs),
• wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually and/or collectively, cause the electronic device to:
• display, through the display, a screen including a first visual object in a state of the display for a lower power consumption;
• and
• while displaying the screen including the first visual object in the state of the display:
• identify an event for additionally displaying a second visual object in the screen that includes the first visual object,
• in response to the event, identify an on-pixel ratio (OPR) of the second visual object to be additionally displayed in the screen that includes the first visual object,
• based on the OPR of the second visual object being identified as lower than a reference OPR, display the screen including the first visual object having a first transparency and the second visual object having a second transparency, and
• based on the OPR of the second visual object being identified as higher than the reference OPR:
• maintain a transparency of the first visual object as the first transparency;
• adjust a transparency of the second visual object to a third transparency lower than the second transparency;
• and
• display the screen including the first visual object having the first transparency and the second visual object having the third transparency.
