Abstract
A system for managing a fleet of shared autonomous vehicles may comprise a plurality of specialized sub-systems. The sub-systems may coordinate to service requested rides using the vehicles. The system may comprise a reservation system configured to receive a request for a ride from a user device. The system may comprise a coordination system configured to determine a price for the requested ride. The system may comprise a routing system configured to determine a vehicle of the fleet to service the requested ride and/or a route for the requested ride. The determined vehicle may be caused to service the requested ride.
Claims22
One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
- causing generation of a first heat map of an interior of an autonomous vehicle of a plurality of heat maps of the interior of the autonomous vehicle based on reaching a point of a route prior to a destination of the route, wherein the plurality of heat maps are different based on a presence or an absence of payload within the interior of the autonomous vehicle;
- causing generation of a second heat map of the plurality of heat maps based on the autonomous vehicle reaching the destination;
- determining, based on a heat comparison of the plurality of heat maps, a status of a payload in the autonomous vehicle;
- and
- instructing, based on the status of the payload, the autonomous vehicle to remain at the destination.
A method comprising:
- causing generation of a first heat map of an interior of an autonomous vehicle of a plurality of heat maps of the interior of an autonomous vehicle based on reaching a point of a route prior to a destination of the route, wherein the plurality of heat maps are different based on a presence or an absence of payload within the interior of the autonomous vehicle;
- causing generation of a second heat map of the plurality of heat maps based on the autonomous vehicle reaching the destination;
- determining, based on a heat comparison of the plurality of heat maps, a status of a payload in the autonomous vehicle;
- and
- instructing, based on the status of the payload, the autonomous vehicle to remain at the destination.
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled with the processor, the memory storing executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising:
- causing generation of a first heat map of an interior of an autonomous vehicle of a plurality of heat maps of an interior of the autonomous vehicle based on reaching a point of a route prior to a destination of the route, wherein the plurality of heat maps are different based on a presence or an absence of payload within the interior of the autonomous vehicle;
- causing generation of a second heat map of the plurality of heat maps based on the autonomous vehicle reaching the destination;
- determining, based on a heat comparison of the plurality of heat maps, a status of a payload in the autonomous vehicle;
- and
- instructing, based on the status of the payload, the autonomous vehicle to remain at the destination.
