Device-to-device transfer of wagering game objects

A system comprising:

• a network communication device configured to connect to a casino network;
• and
• a processor, wherein the processor is configured to execute instructions, which when executed, cause the system to perform operations to:
• communicatively couple, via the network communication device, a personal mobile device to an additional device via the casino network;
• electronically sense, via a sensor of at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device, a user-input gesture performed via one or more of the personal mobile device or the additional device;
• generate, via the processor in response to the electronically sensing, digitally encoded input data about the user-input gesture, wherein the digitally encoded input data indicates a motion direction or an orientation relative to a physical position of at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device;
• store, by the processor, the digitally encoded input data in a computer memory;
• analyze, by the processor via access to the computer memory and via access to electronic information about the physical position received by the processor via the network communication device, the digitally encoded input data relative to the physical position;
• compute, by the processor in response to the analyzing, that the digitally encoded input data indicates to transfer a gaming object between the personal mobile device and the additional device according to the motion direction or the orientation;
• route, in response to the computing, communication of the transfer to a wagering game server connected to the casino network;
• transmit, via the wagering game server to the at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device in response to the computing according to the motion direction or the orientation, additional electronic data indicating a transfer of the gaming object between the personal mobile device and the additional device;
• and
• animate, via one or more of the personal mobile device or the additional device, a transfer of the gaming object.

A method comprising:

• communicatively coupling, by a processor, a personal mobile device to an additional device via a casino network, wherein communicatively coupling the personal mobile device to the additional device via the casino network is in response to detecting, via additional communication to a social networking server external to the casino network, that the personal mobile device is associated, via a social network, to a social contact associated with the additional device;
• electronically sensing, via a sensor of at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device, a user-input gesture performed via the at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device;
• generating, via the processor in response to the electronically sensing, digitally encoded input data about the user-input gesture that indicates a motion direction or an orientation relative to a physical position of at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device;
• storing, by the processor, the digitally encoded input data in a computer memory accessible to the processor;
• analyzing, by the processor via access to the computer memory and via access to electronic information about the physical position received by the processor via a network interface communication of the at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device, the digitally encoded input data relative to the physical position;
• computing, by the processor in response to the analyzing, that the digitally encoded input data indicates to transfer a gaming object between the personal mobile device and the additional device according to the motion direction or the orientation;
• in response to the computing, routing, by the processor, communication of the transfer to a wagering game server connected to the casino network;
• transmitting, via the wagering game server to the at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device in response to the computing, additional electronic data indicating a transferring of the gaming object between the personal mobile device and the additional device;
• and
• animating, via a display device of at least one of the personal mobile device or the additional device, the transferring of the gaming object.
