HBM based memory lookup engine for deep learning accelerator

A method for obtaining operation results, the method comprising:

• receiving, by a logic device of a high bandwidth memory (HBM), a first input and a second input;
• generating, by the logic device, a result based on the first input and the second input;
• storing, by the logic device, the result in a memory device of the HBM;
• and
• outputting, by the memory device, the result by locating the result based on the first input and the second input.

A system for obtaining operation results, the system comprising:

• a processor of a high bandwidth memory (HBM);
• and
• a first memory storing instructions, which, based on being executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform:
• receiving a first input and a second input;
• generating a result based on the first input and the second input;
• storing the result in a second memory;
• and
• outputting, by the second memory, the result based on the first input and the second input.
