Washing machine

A washing machine comprising:

• a tub configured to store wash water therein;
• a drum rotatably provided in the tub;
• and
• a pump provided at the tub and configured to drain and circulate the wash water, wherein the pump comprises:
• a pump housing configured to receive the wash water flowing out of the tub,
• a drain chamber defined in one side of the pump housing,
• a drain pump mounted in the drain chamber, the drain pump being provided with a drain impeller configured to generate a drain pressure in the drain chamber,
• a first drain hose connector disposed at an upper portion of the drain chamber in a direction parallel to a horizontal direction and configured to discharge the wash water stored in the tub in response to rotation of the drain impeller in one direction,
• a second drain hose connector disposed at a lower portion of the drain chamber in a direction parallel to the horizontal direction and configured to discharge residual water present in the drain chamber in response to rotation of the drain impeller in an opposite direction,
• a first drain hose connected to the first drain hose connector, and
• a second drain hose connected to the second drain hose connector.
