Abstract
The disclosure provides immunogenic cells expressing LMP1, and use thereof in activating T cells and treating cancer. Also provided are methods of producing the immunogenic cells.

A method of treating a subject having a B cell cancer or melanoma, the method comprising administering to the subject a LMP1-cell vaccine comprising an isolated neoplastic B cell, an isolated leukemia B cell, or an isolated melanoma cell expressing a nucleic acid vector encoding a LMP1 polypeptide having a sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 1, wherein at least 50% of an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) genome is absent from the vector, and wherein the method treats the B cell cancer or melanoma in the subject.
