Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical or veterinary composition for the use thereof in preventing and/or treating infection by the influenza viruses. The composition is characterized in that it contains, in an appropriate pharmaceutical carrier, at least one compound selected from among Etilefrine and Diltiazem.

A therapeutic method for treating infection with influenza viruses in a human or an animal, wherein the method comprises administration to the human or the animal of a combination of diltiazem and oseltamivir, in a ratio of diltiazem:oseltamivir between 900:1 and 0.9:1.
A method for treating infection with influenza viruses, comprising the simultaneous, separate or sequential administration of diltiazem and oseltamivir, in a ratio of diltiazem:oseltamivir between 900:1 and 0.9:1.
