Micro puree machine with partial depth processing

A food processor shaft position control system comprising:

• position motor housed within a housing of the food processor, the position motor operable to change a position of the shaft via rotation of a gear;
• a sensor on the housing configured to detect a property associated with a position of the shaft and, in response to the detection, generate a first signal indicative of the property;
• and
• a controller comprising a processing unit, the controller configured to:
• receive the first signal from the sensor;
• and
• determine the position of the shaft based on the first signal.

A method for manufacturing a shaft position controller of a food processor comprising:

• housing a position motor and gear within a housing of the food processor, the position motor operable to change a position of the shaft via rotation of the gear;
• providing a sensor in the housing configured to detect a property associated with a position of the shaft and, in response to the detection, generate a first signal indicative of the property;
• and
• providing a controller comprising a processing unit, the controller configured to:
• receive the first signal from the sensor;
• and
• determine the position of the shaft based on the first signal.
