Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), generally including receiving, from a network entity, information regarding candidate cells configured for conditional handover (CHO), determining, based on the information regarding the candidate cells, an order to scan frequencies for an acquisition database based scan, and performing the acquisition database based scan in the determined order.
Claims26
A method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, from a network entity, information regarding candidate cells configured for conditional handover (CHO);
- determining, based on the information regarding the candidate cells, an order to scan frequencies for a scan based on an acquisition database;
- taking measurements on frequencies corresponding to the candidate cells;
- updating the acquisition database based on the measurements;
- and
- performing the scan in the determined order based on the updated acquisition database.
A user equipment (UE) configured for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory comprising computer-executable instructions;
- and one or more processors configured to execute the computer-executable instructions and cause the UE to:
- receive, from a network entity, information regarding candidate cells configured for conditional handover (CHO);
- determine, based on the information regarding the candidate cells, an order to scan frequencies for a scan based on an acquisition database;
- take measurements on frequencies corresponding to the candidate cells;
- update the acquisition database based on the measurements;
- and
- perform the scan in the determined order based on the updated acquisition database.
An apparatus for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- means for receiving, from a network entity, information regarding candidate cells configured for conditional handover (CHO);
- means for determining, based on the information regarding the candidate cells, an order to scan frequencies a scan based on an acquisition database;
- means for taking measurements on frequencies corresponding to the candidate cells;
- means for updating the acquisition database based on the measurements;
- and
- means for performing the scan in the determined order based on the updated acquisition database.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon for:
- receiving, from a network entity, information regarding candidate cells configured for conditional handover (CHO);
- determining, based on the information regarding the candidate cells, an order to scan frequencies a scan based on an acquisition database;
- taking measurements on frequencies corresponding to the candidate cells;
- updating the acquisition database based on the measurements;
- and
- performing the scan in the determined order based on the updated acquisition database.
