Abstract
In one aspect, a method comprises: monitoring, via at least one computer system of a central entity, performance information of a plurality of wireless devices present in a network environment remotely coupled to the central entity; updating a monitoring database based on monitoring the performance information; and causing at least some of the plurality of wireless devices to be reconfigured from a first mode to a second mode based at least in part on the performance information.
Claims20
A non-transitory storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one device to perform a method comprising:
- causing a plurality of wireless devices to be provisioned into a network environment in a first mode comprising a rural mode in which a radio frequency (RF) signal processing path included in the plurality of wireless devices comprises an RF filter that receives an output of a low noise amplifier (LNA), based on an initial configuration of the plurality of wireless devices into the rural mode via firmware when a nature of the network environment is rural;
- monitoring, via at least one computer system of a central entity, performance information of the plurality of wireless devices present in the network environment remotely coupled to the central entity;
- updating a monitoring database based on monitoring the performance information;
- and
- based at least in part on the performance information, determining a change to the nature of the network environment and in response to the change, causing at least some of the plurality of wireless devices to be reconfigured from the first mode to a second mode, the second mode comprising an urban mode in which the RF signal processing path included in the at least some of the plurality of wireless devices comprises the LNA receiving an output of the RF filter.
A method comprising:
- causing a plurality of wireless devices to be provisioned into a network environment in a first mode comprising a rural mode in which a radio frequency (RF) signal processing path included in the plurality of wireless devices comprises an RF filter that receives an output of a low noise amplifier (LNA), based on an initial configuration of the plurality of wireless devices into the rural mode via firmware when a nature of the network environment is rural;
- monitoring, via at least one computer system of a central entity, performance information of the plurality of wireless devices present in the network environment remotely coupled to the central entity;
- updating a monitoring database based on monitoring the performance information;
- and
- based at least in part on the performance information, determining a change to the nature of the network environment and in response to the change, causing at least some of the plurality of wireless devices to be reconfigured from the first mode to a second mode, the second mode comprising an urban mode in which the RF signal processing path included in the at least some of the plurality of wireless devices comprises the LNA receiving an output of the RF filter.
A method comprising:
- causing a plurality of wireless devices to be provisioned into a network environment in a first mode in which a radio frequency (RF) signal processing path included in the plurality of wireless devices comprises an RF filter that receives an output of a low noise amplifier (LNA), based on an initial configuration of the plurality of wireless devices into the first mode via firmware when a nature of the network environment is rural;
- monitoring, via at least one computer system of a central entity, performance information of the plurality of wireless devices, the network environment remotely coupled to the central entity;
- updating a monitoring database based on monitoring the performance information;
- and
- based at least in part on the performance information, determining a change to the nature of the network environment and in response to the change, causing at least some of the plurality of wireless devices to be reconfigured from the first mode to a second mode, wherein in the second mode the RF signal processing path included in the at least some of the plurality of wireless devices comprises the LNA receiving an output of the RF filter.
