Methods; apparatuses, and products for providing a security platform that includes a virtual data lake, including: generating, based on security data associated with one or more monitored deployments, one or more abstracted security records, wherein the security data includes data in at least two distinct record formats; storing the one or more abstracted securing records in a virtual data lake; and generating, based on the one or more abstracted securing records, one or more security insights.
Claims20
A method of providing a security platform that includes a virtual data lake, the method comprising:
- generating, based on security data associated with one or more monitored deployments, one or more abstracted security records, wherein the security data includes data in at least two distinct record formats, wherein each of the record formats is associated with a different cloud services provider;
- storing the one or more abstracted securing records in a virtual data lake;
- and
- generating, based on the one or more abstracted securing records, one or more security insights.
An apparatus for providing a security platform that includes a virtual data lake, the apparatus including a computer processor and a computer memory that includes computer program instructions that, when executed by the computer processor, carry out the steps of:
- generating, based on security data associated with one or more monitored deployments, one or more abstracted security records, wherein the security data includes data in at least two distinct record formats, wherein each of the record formats is associated with a different cloud services provider;
- storing the one or more abstracted securing records in a virtual data lake;
- and
- generating, based on the one or more abstracted securing records, one or more security insights.
A computer program product for providing a security platform that includes a virtual data lake, the computer program product disposed on a computer readable medium, the computer program product including computer program instructions that, when executed, carry out the steps of:
- generating, based on security data associated with one or more monitored deployments, one or more abstracted security records, wherein the security data includes data in at least two distinct record formats, wherein each of the record formats is associated with a different cloud services provider;
- storing the one or more abstracted securing records in a virtual data lake;
- and
- generating, based on the one or more abstracted securing records, one or more security insights.
