Abstract
Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) is measured accurately even in a case where a discovery signal is transmitted. A receiver receives a plurality of subframes, at least one of which includes a discovery signal, and a measurer measures Reference Signal Reception Power (RSRP) using a first resource in which the discovery signal is mapped, measures RSSI using a second resource different from the first resource for which the discovery signal is mapped, and calculates Reference Signal Reception Quality (RSRQ) using RSRP and RSSI.
Claims6
An integrated circuit, comprising:
- transmission circuitry, which in operation, controls a transmission of control information indicating subframes to be used in measuring discovery signals;
- and
- reception circuitry, which in operation, controls a reception of a result of Reference Signal Reception Quality (RSRQ), the RSRQ being measured by a communication apparatus based on Reference Signal Reception Power (RSRP) and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) by using the subframes indicated by the control information,
- wherein a number of first resource elements used for measuring the RSSI within the subframes is greater than a number of second resource elements used for measuring the RSRP.
