Abstract
A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode layer. The negative electrode layer includes a dielectric particle and a negative electrode active material including either or both of a lithium metal and a lithium alloy.
Claims7
A lithium secondary battery comprising:
- a positive electrode including a positive electrode layer and a positive electrode current collector;
- a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode layer;
- and
- an electrolyte layer located between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer,
- wherein the negative electrode layer includes dielectric particles a dielectric particle and a negative electrode active material including either or both of a lithium metal and a lithium alloy, and
- wherein the dielectric particles are arranged in the negative electrode layer so as to have a first set of dielectric particles that are in contact with at least a part of the negative electrode current collector and a second set of dielectric particles that are not in contact with the negative electrode current collector but are within the negative electrode layer.
