Abstract
Aspects presented herein relate to methods and devices for data or graphics processing including an apparatus, e.g., a central processing unit (CPU). The apparatus may partition at least one frame into a set of two-dimensional (2D) pixel tiles, wherein the at least one frame is associated with a three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction (3DR) process. The apparatus may also detect whether one or more 2D pixel tiles in the set of 2D pixel tiles are present in a cache. Further, the apparatus may obtain an indication of at least one pixel in the one or more 2D pixel tiles based on the one or more 2D pixel tiles being present in the cache.

An apparatus for data processing, comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and, based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
- partition at least one frame into a set of two-dimensional (2D) pixel tiles, wherein the at least one frame is associated with a three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction (3DR) process;
- detect whether one or more 2D pixel tiles in the set of 2D pixel tiles are present in a cache;
- and
- obtain an indication of at least one pixel in the one or more 2D pixel tiles based on the detection of the one or more 2D pixel tiles being present in the cache.
A method of data processing, comprising:
- partitioning at least one frame into a set of two-dimensional (2D) pixel tiles, wherein the at least one frame is associated with a three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction (3DR) process;
- detecting whether one or more 2D pixel tiles in the set of 2D pixel tiles are present in a cache;
- and
- obtaining an indication of at least one pixel in the one or more 2D pixel tiles based on the detection of the one or more 2D pixel tiles being present in the cache.
An apparatus for data processing, comprising:
- means for partitioning at least one frame into a set of two-dimensional (2D) pixel tiles, wherein the at least one frame is associated with a three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction (3DR) process;
- means for detecting whether one or more 2D pixel tiles in the set of 2D pixel tiles are present in a cache;
- and
- means for obtaining an indication of at least one pixel in the one or more 2D pixel tiles based on the detection of the one or more 2D pixel tiles being present in the cache.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer executable code for data processing, the code when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to:
- partition at least one frame into a set of two-dimensional (2D) pixel tiles, wherein the at least one frame is associated with a three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction (3DR) process;
- detect whether one or more 2D pixel tiles in the set of 2D pixel tiles are present in a cache;
- and
- obtain an indication of at least one pixel in the one or more 2D pixel tiles based on the detection of the one or more 2D pixel tiles being present in the cache.
