Printing apparatus including processing member for processing a print medium

A printing apparatus, comprising:

• a conveying unit configured to convey a printing medium in a conveying direction;
• a printing unit configured to print an image on the printing medium based on print data included in a print job;
• a processing unit including a processing member and configured to cut the printing medium, form perforations in the printing medium, or form a crease in the printing medium, by moving the processing member in a state that the processing member contacts the printing medium;
• and
• a controller configured to execute a printing process in which the image is printed on the printing medium based on the print data by the printing unit,
• wherein in the printing process,
• in a case that the controller determines that a first length in the conveying direction of the printing medium conveyed by the conveying unit is equal to or longer than a predetermined second length, the controller executes cutting the printing medium, forming perforations in the printing medium, or forming a crease in the printing medium, and
• in a case that the controller determines that the first length is shorter than the predetermined second length, the controller does not execute cutting the printing medium, forming perforations in the printing medium, or forming a crease in the printing medium.
