Abstract
A video frame rendering method and apparatus which belong to the field of computer technologies. The method includes: acquiring, by a server, a first video frame corresponding to a first terminal the first video frame being obtained by rendering a target virtual scene comprising a plurality of virtual objects; rendering, by the server, a new target virtual object based on a customization setting and an original target virtual object of the plurality of virtual objects; substituting the original target virtual object in the first video frame with the new target virtual object to obtain a second video frame; and transmitting, by the server, the second video frame to a first terminal, the first terminal being configured to display the second video frame.
Claims20
A video frame rendering method performed by at least one processor, the method comprising:
- acquiring, by a second server from a first server, a first video frame rendered by the first server for display on a first terminal, the first video frame representing a virtual scene comprising a plurality of virtual objects from a perspective of a first virtual object;
- obtaining, by the second server, a customization setting associated with a target object in the target virtual scene, the target object being one of the plurality of the virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- obtaining, by the second server, based on the customization setting, an updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene;
- generating, by the second server, a second video frame where the target virtual object is replaced with the updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene and other virtual objects among the plurality of virtual objects are not replaced with updated renderings of the other virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- and
- transmitting, by the second server, the second video frame to a first terminal.
A video frame rendering apparatus, comprising:
- at least one memory configured to store program code;
- and
- at least one processor configured to read the program code and operate as instructed by the program code, the program code comprising:
- acquiring code configured to cause the at least one processor to acquire, by a second server- and from a first server, a first video frame rendered by the first server for display on a first terminal, the first video frame representing a virtual scene comprising a plurality of virtual objects from a perspective of a first virtual object;
- first obtaining code configured to cause the at least one processor to obtain, by the second server, a customization setting associated with a target object in the target virtual scene, the target object being one of the plurality of the virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- second obtaining code configured to cause the at least one processor to obtain, by the second server, based on the customization setting, an updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene;
- generating code configured to cause the at least one processor to generate, by the second server, a second video frame where the target virtual object is replaced with the updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene and other virtual objects among the plurality of virtual objects are not replaced with updated renderings of the other virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- and
- transmitting code configured to cause the at least one processor to transmit, by the second server, the second video frame to a first terminal.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, storing a computer program that when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to:
- acquire, from a first server, a first video frame corresponding to a first terminal, the first video frame being obtained by the first server rendering a target virtual scene comprising a plurality of virtual objects from a perspective of a first virtual object;
- obtain a customization setting associated with a target object in the target virtual scene, the target object being one of the plurality of the virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- obtain based on the customization setting, an updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene;
- generate a second video frame where target virtual object is replaced with the updated rendering of the target virtual object in the target virtual scene and other virtual objects among the plurality of virtual objects are not replaced with updated renderings of the other virtual objects in the target virtual scene;
- transmit the second video frame to a first terminal.
