Port connectors

A port connector for connecting to a fluid port of a device to be sterilized to a sterilization apparatus, the fluid port having a distal end surface facing distally, the distal end surface defining a fluid port outlet, the fluid port defining a lumen extending proximally from the fluid port outlet, the port connector comprising:

• a housing configured to couple to the fluid port, the housing defining an inlet configured to be fluidly coupled to the lumen of the fluid port, an outlet configured to be fluidly coupled to the sterilization apparatus, and a fluid passageway extending between and fluidly coupling the inlet and outlet;
• and a porous member supported by the housing, the porous member having a porous structure defining a plurality of minute passageways, the porous member arranged relative to the housing to engage the distal end surface of the fluid port when the port connector is connected to the fluid port.
