Abstract
The present invention is directed to an impact protector (1), in particular for protection against external forces, comprising a base body (2) with an inner side (5) and an outer side (6). The base body (2) is preferably convexly curved outwards. The base body (2) is made of a cork material, in particular a pressed cork material. Furthermore, the invention relates to a textile holding device with an impact protector according to the invention.
Claims18
An impact protector, for protection against external forces, comprising:
- a base body with an inner side and with an outer side,
- wherein the base body is convexly curved outwards, and the base body is formed from a cork material comprising a pressed cork material,
- wherein the density of the pressed cork material is between 150 kg/m2 and 800 kg/m2, and
- wherein the grain size of the pressed cork material is from 0.025 mm to 10 mm.
