Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration indicating one or more cells configured for layer 1/layer 2 (L1/L2) mobility. The UE may receive a message indicating at least one cell of the one or more cells. Accordingly, the UE may release the at least one cell in response to the message. Numerous other aspects are described.
Claims30
An apparatus for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a processor;
- memory coupled with the processor;
- and
- instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to:
- receive a layer 1/layer 2 (L1/L2) mobility configuration indicating one or more cells configured for L1/L2 mobility;
- receive a message indicating at least one cell of the one or more cells, wherein the message includes one or more indices corresponding to the at least one cell, and wherein each index of the one or more indices indicates a transmission-reception point (TRP) of the at least one cell;
- and
- release the at least one cell from the L1/L2 mobility configuration based at least in part on the one or more indices, in response to the message.
An apparatus for wireless communications at a network entity, comprising:
- a processor;
- memory coupled with the processor;
- and
- instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to:
- transmit a layer 1/layer 2 (L1/L2) mobility configuration indicating one or more cells configured for L1/L2 mobility;
- and
- transmit a message indicating at least one cell of the one or more cells to release from the L1/L2 mobility configuration, wherein the message includes one or more indices corresponding to the at least one cell, and wherein each index of the one or more indices indicates a transmission-reception point (TRP) of the at least one cell.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving a layer 1/layer 2 (L1/L2) mobility configuration indicating one or more cells configured for L1/L2 mobility;
- receiving a message indicating at least one cell of the one or more cells, wherein the message includes one or more indices corresponding to the at least one cell, and wherein each index of the one or more indices indicates a transmission-reception point (TRP) of the at least one cell;
- and
- releasing the at least one cell from the L1/L2 mobility configuration based at least in part on the one or more indices, in response to the message.
A method of wireless communication performed by a network entity, comprising:
- transmitting a layer 1/layer 2 (L1/L2) mobility configuration indicating one or more cells configured for L1/L2 mobility;
- and
- transmitting a message indicating at least one cell of the one or more cells to release from the L1/L2 mobility configuration, wherein the message includes one or more indices corresponding to the at least one cell, and wherein each index of the one or more indices indicates a transmission-reception point (TRP) of the at least one cell.
