Abstract
An image capturing system enabling rear monitoring of vehicle and cargo bed monitoring by one image capturing apparatus comprising: an image capturing apparatus disposed in a vehicle provided with a cargo area; and a display image generation unit configured to output image data generated by the image capturing apparatus to an image display unit, wherein the image capturing apparatus is disposed in such a manner that a first region in the rear of the vehicle and a second region including the cargo area can be imaged simultaneously.

An image capturing system comprising:
- an image capturing apparatus disposed in a vehicle provided with a cargo area;
- and
- at least one processor or circuit configured to function as:
- a display image generation unit configured to output image data generated by the image capturing apparatus to an image display unit,
- wherein the image capturing apparatus is disposed in such a manner that a first region in the rear of the vehicle and a second region including the cargo area can be imaged simultaneously,
- wherein the image capturing apparatus generates the image data by imaging the first region at a higher resolution than the second region.

- a determination unit configured to provide a warning in a case where a fall of an object loaded on the cargo area is detected or in a case where a predetermined object approaches the cargo area during inclination of the cargo area.
