Abstract
According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving a wireless signal Rk over all subcarriers allocated to the wireless device. The signal Rk comprises a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) on a subset of subcarriers allocated to the wireless device. The method further comprises computing a de-inter-carrier interference (ICI) filter based on a cross correlation of the PT-RS and one or more additional subcarriers and applying the de-ICI filter to the received signal Rk to generate a de-ICI filtered signal.
Claims20
A method performed by a wireless device, the method comprising:
- receiving a signal Rk over all subcarriers allocated to the wireless device, the signal Rk comprising a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) on a subset of subcarriers allocated to the wireless device;
- computing a de-inter-carrier interference (de-ICI) filter based on a cross correlation of the received PT-RS and one or more additional subcarriers around the subset of subcarriers, a cross-correlation of the received PT-RS and estimated target PT-RS, and a cross-correlation of the one or more additional subcarriers with the estimated PT-RS;
- and
- applying the de-ICI filter to the received signal Rk to generate a de-ICI filtered signal.
A wireless device comprising:
- a wireless communication interface;
- and
- processing circuitry in communication with the wireless communication interface so as to be operable to:
- receive a signal Rk over all subcarriers allocated to the wireless device, the signal Rk comprising a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) on a subset of subcarriers allocated to the wireless device;
- compute a de-inter-carrier interference (ICI) filter based on a cross correlation of the received PT-RS and one or more additional subcarriers around the subset of subcarriers, a cross-correlation of the received PT-RS and estimated target PT-RS, and a cross-correlation of the one or more additional subcarriers with the estimated PT-RS;
- and
- apply the de-ICI filter to the received signal Rk to generate a de-ICI filtered signal.
