Synchronization beam sweeping with controllable reflective surfaces in presence of multiple operators

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• means for performing, by a first scheduling entity that is co-located at a site with a second scheduling entity, a first beam sweep, wherein the first beam sweep includes transmitting a plurality of directional beams;
• and
• means for transmitting a control signal, by the first scheduling entity, to a controllable reflective surface to control the controllable reflective surface to reduce a likelihood of a redirection, by the controllable reflective surface, of a directional beam of a potential second beam sweep by the second scheduling entity towards a scheduled entity associated with the second scheduling entity.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable code, comprising code for causing a computer to:

• perform, by a first scheduling entity that is co-located at a site with a second scheduling entity, a first beam sweep, wherein the first beam sweep includes transmitting a plurality of directional beams;
• and
• transmit a control signal, by the first scheduling entity, to a controllable reflective surface to control the controllable reflective surface to reduce a likelihood of a redirection, by the controllable reflective surface, of a directional beam of a potential second beam sweep by the second scheduling entity towards a scheduled entity associated with the second scheduling entity.
