Abstract
A display apparatus includes: a display panel including a display region including pixels located in n rows, where n is a natural number; and a digitizer overlapping with the display panel, the digitizer to transmit a charging signal to an input unit and receive a position signal from the input unit. When the digitizer transmits the charging signal to the input unit, a frequency of the charging signal is synchronized to T, where T is a time taken from when a scan signal is applied to a first row of the display region from among the n rows to when a scan signal is applied to the first row a next time.
Claims18
A display apparatus comprising:
- a display panel comprising a display region comprising pixels located in n rows, where n is a natural number;
- and
- a digitizer overlapping with the display panel, the digitizer configured to transmit a charging signal to an input unit and receive a position signal from the input unit,
- wherein, when the digitizer transmits the charging signal to the input unit, a frequency of the charging signal is synchronized to T, where T is a time taken from when a scan signal is applied to a first row of the display region from among the n rows to when a scan signal is applied to the first row a next time.
A method of controlling a display apparatus comprising a display panel comprising pixels located in n rows, where n is a natural number, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by a digitizer overlapping with the display panel, a charging signal to an input unit;
- and
- when the digitizer transmits the charging signal, synchronizing a frequency of the charging signal to T, where T is a time taken from when a scan signal is applied to a first row of a display region from among the n rows to when a scan signal is applied to the first row a next time.
