Abstract
A power regulation system including a reference generator, a temperature compensation circuit coupled to the reference generator, and a low-dropout (LDO) regulator circuit coupled to the temperature compensation circuit, wherein the temperature compensation circuit provides a reference voltage to the LDO regulator circuit at least based on a ratio of a first current and a second current.
Claims20
A power regulation system, comprising:
- a reference generator;
- a temperature compensation circuit coupled to the reference generator and configured to provide a reference voltage generated across a resistor based on a first current and a second current, wherein the first current is a zero-temperature coefficient current and the second current is a negative-temperature coefficient current, wherein a first terminal of the resistor is coupled to ground and a second terminal of the resistor is coupled to a node that receives the first current and the second current;
- and
- a low-dropout (LDO) regulator circuit that receives the reference voltage from the temperature compensation circuit and provides a voltage to unselected bit lines of a memory array.

A temperature compensation circuit, comprising:
- a resistor;
- a first current source coupled to the resistor to provide a first current;
- and
- a second current source coupled to the resistor to provide a second current, wherein the first current is a zero-temperature coefficient current and the second current is a negative-temperature coefficient current,
- wherein the resistor comprises a first terminal coupled to ground and a second terminal coupled to a node that receives the first current source and the second current source, and provides a reference voltage to a low-dropout (LDO) regulator circuit.

A method, comprising:
- sourcing a first current to a resistor;
- sourcing a second current to the resistor, wherein the first current is a zero-temperature coefficient current and the second current is a negative-temperature coefficient current, wherein a first terminal of the resistor is coupled to ground and a second terminal of the resistor is coupled to a node that receives the first current and the second current;
- generating, at the node, a reference voltage at least based on the first current and the second current;
- and
- providing, using a low-dropout (LDO) regulator circuit that receives the reference voltage, a voltage to unselected bit lines of a memory array.
