LED light fixtures with waveguide edge

A luminaire comprising:

• a light source including an array of light emitting diodes;
• and
• a driver assembly comprising:
• a sleeve having an internal passage, and a driver received in the internal passage, wherein the sleeve comprises at least one open end aligned with the internal passage for insertion of the driver, and one or more vents having a grommet structure for exchanging air between the internal passage and environment of the luminaire;
• and
• a base spacing the sleeve apart from the light source, the base comprising an internal cavity, wherein an end of the internal passage of the sleeve opens into the internal cavity of the base.

A luminaire comprising:

• a light source including an array of light emitting diodes;
• and
• a driver assembly comprising:
• a sleeve having an internal passage, and a driver received in the internal passage, wherein the sleeve comprises at least one open end aligned with the internal passage for insertion of the driver;
• a base spacing the sleeve apart from the light source, the base comprising an internal cavity, wherein an end of the internal passage of the sleeve opens into the internal cavity of the base;
• and
• a spring plate operable to press the driver against a wall of the sleeve.
