Abstract
A laundry treating apparatus includes a pressure vessel configured to receive fluid and to maintain a pressure therein to be higher than an atmospheric pressure, a separator that divides the pressure vessel into a first chamber and a second chamber, a drum rotatably disposed in the first chamber and configured to accommodate laundry therein, a driver configured to rotate the drum, and a pump configured to cause the fluid to flow between the first chamber and the second chamber.

A laundry treating apparatus comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive fluid and to maintain a pressure therein to be higher than an atmospheric pressure;
- a separator that divides the pressure vessel into (i) a first chamber that is a space configured to treat laundry using liquid carbon dioxide and (ii) a second chamber that is a space configured to store liquid carbon dioxide;
- a drum rotatably disposed in the first chamber and configured to accommodate the laundry therein;
- a driver configured to rotate the drum;
- and
- a pump configured to cause the fluid to flow between the first chamber and the second chamber.
