Abstract
The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for producing hydrogel matrix constructs. Methods of using hydrogel matrix constructs for tissue repair and regeneration and for the oxygenation of red blood cells are also disclosed.
Claims7
A prepolymerization solution, comprising:
- poly(ethylene glycol) having a molecular weight of greater than 2,000 Daltons and comprising at least two acrylate groups per molecule of poly(ethylene glycol);
- a photo-initiator;
- and
- a protein with a peak light absorption overlapping that of the photo-initiator.
