A compound represented by Chemical Formula 1:

• wherein, in Chemical Formula 1,
• R1, R3, R4, and R6 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group,
• R2 and R5 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an ester group *-C(═O)OR′, or an amide group *-C(O)NR″R″, provided that at least one of R2 and R5 is the ester group *-C(═O)OR′ or the amide group *-C(═O)NR″R″,
• R′ is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C15 alkyl group, and R″ and R″′ are each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C15 alkyl group,
• X is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C20 aryl group,
• L is a divalent ligand,
• L is a catechol-based ligand, a 2,3-naphthalenediol-based ligand, or a 1,1′-bi-2-naphthol-based ligand, and
• * is a bonding location.
