Claims18
A method for the treatment of cancer in a patient in need thereof, comprising orally administering to the patient a compound of Formula S-(1):
- wherein:
- the cancer is astrocytoma, craniopharyngioma, glioma, ependymoma, neuroglioma, oligodendroglioma, glioblastoma multiforme, meningioma, medulloblastoma, or a primitive neuroectoderm;
- and
- the compound of Formula S-(1) is administered at a unit dose of about 15 mg to about 250 mg.
A method for the treatment of cancer in a patient in need thereof, comprising parenterally administering to the patient a compound of Formula S-(1):
- wherein:
- the cancer is astrocytoma, craniopharyngioma, glioma, ependymoma, neuroglioma, oligodendroglioma, glioblastoma multiforme, meningioma, medulloblastoma, or a primitive neuroectoderm;
- and
- the compound of Formula S-(1) is administered at a unit dose of about 200 mg to about 400 mg.
A method for the treatment of cancer in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula S-(1):
- wherein:
- the cancer is astrocytoma, craniopharyngioma, glioma, ependymoma, neuroglioma, oligodendroglioma, glioblastoma multiforme, meningioma, medulloblastoma, or a primitive neuroectoderm;
- and
- the administration results in an in vivo plasma profile for the compound of Formula S-(1) comprising a mean area under the curve from dosing time to twenty four hours (AUC0-24) of about 457 to 7,260 h*ng/mL.
