Carrier

A blank for producing a carrier, the blank comprising:

• a top sheet defining one or more pockets;
• and
• a bottom sheet attached to the top sheet;
• wherein the top sheet comprises one or more sets of flaps, each set of flaps for forming a respective pocket of the one or more pockets, each of the flaps being hingedly connected at a proximal end to a top surface of the top sheet about a flap hinge line defined around an edge of the respective pocket and folded about the flap hinge line to define a pocket side wall;
• wherein the top sheet further comprises tabs, each of the tabs hingedly connected to a distal end of one of the flaps about a tab fold line and folded about the tab fold line so as to lie along a base of the pocket;
• wherein the bottom sheet is bonded to the tabs in a face-to-face relationship configured to close at least a portion of the base of the pocket;
• and wherein each of the one or more sets of flaps comprises four flaps arranged as opposed pairs of flaps, wherein the tabs connected to a first pair of opposed flaps, respectively, are aligned with each other along a longitudinal axis (A) of the pocket and the tabs connected to a second pair of opposed flaps, respectively, are offset from one another relative to a transverse axis (B) of the pocket in a direction along the longitudinal axis (A) of the pocket.
