Abstract
Provided herein are electrohydrodynamic devices, systems, and methods configured to isolate of one or more particles of varying size and dielectric properties.
Claims27
An electro fluidic device comprising:
- a chip;
- and
- an electrode attached to and electrically coupled with the chip, the electrode comprising a curved edge having a tangential angle greater than 45 degrees along at least 25% of the curved edge, wherein the curved edge of the electrode provides the electro fluidic device with a capture area that includes a capture surface and is configured to isolate one or more particles from a fluid sample flowing on the capture surface of the capture area of the electrode upon receiving an electrical signal from a controller.
