Abstract

Provided herein are compositions and methods for delivering pharmaceutical agents. In particular, provided herein are hydrogel formulations of suramin for use in wound healing, wound prevention, and other applications.

Dependent claims

A composition, comprising:

suramin encapsulated in a crosslinked polymeric hydrogel comprising chitosan or carboxymethyl chitosan and poloxamer, wherein the composition is formulated for topical administration.
