Sealing member for prosthetic heart valve

A prosthetic heart valve, comprising:

• a frame having an inflow end portion, an outflow end portion, an intermediate portion disposed between the inflow end portion and the outflow end portion, and a plurality of struts, wherein the frame is radially compressible and expandable between a radially-compressed configuration and a radially-expanded configuration;
• a valve component disposed within and coupled to the frame and having a plurality of leaflets;
• and
• a plurality of ribs;
• a plurality of connectors;
• and
• and a retaining member,
• wherein the plurality of ribs is coupled to and extends radially outwardly from the frame when the frame is in the radially-expanded configuration, wherein each connector of the plurality of connectors is coupled to and extends radially between the frame and a respective rib of the plurality of ribs, wherein the retaining member is coupled to the frame and the plurality of ribs so as to limit radial expansion of the plurality of ribs relative to the frame, and wherein the plurality of connectors is configured to reduce or prevent perivalvular leakage around the prosthetic heart valve.
