Abstract
A lighting apparatus includes a constant current generator, a voltage converter and a PWM generator. The constant current generator for generating a driving current. The current level is determined according to a dimmer signal received from the dimmer. The voltage converter converts the current level of the driving current to a voltage level. The PWM generator generates multiple PWM signals respectively to multiple LED modules. The multiple LED modules have different optical parameters. The mixed light of the multiple LED modules is determined by the PWM signals and the optical parameters of the multiple LED modules.
Claims19
A lighting apparatus coupled to a dimmer, comprising:
- a constant current generator for generating a driving current, wherein a current level is determined according to a dimmer signal received from the dimmer;
- a voltage converter for converting the current level of the driving current to a voltage level;
- and
- a PWM generator for generating multiple PWM signals respectively to multiple LED modules, wherein the multiple LED modules have different optical parameters, wherein the mixed light of the multiple LED modules is determined by the PWM signals and the optical parameters of the multiple LED modules, wherein the voltage converter comprises an operation amplifier and an ADC sampler, wherein the operation amplifier amplifies a detected voltage of the driving current to an enlarged voltage level, wherein the ADC sampler converts the enlarged voltage level to a digital voltage level.
