Abstract
In an aspect, a user equipment may receive assistance information for one or more index modulated sensing waveforms. The user equipment may receive index modulated sensing signals, the index modulated sensing signals based on the one or more index modulated sensing waveforms. The user equipment may process the index modulated sensing signals using at least some of the assistance information.

A wireless device, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- one or more transceivers;
- and
- one or more processors communicatively coupled to the one or more memories and the one or more transceivers, the one or more processors, either alone or in combination, configured to:
- receive, via the one or more transceivers, assistance information for one or more index modulated sensing waveforms;
- receive, via the one or more transceivers, index modulated sensing signals, the index modulated sensing signals based on the one or more index modulated sensing waveforms, wherein information is conveyed by index values of transmission resources of the index modulated sensing signals;
- and
- process the index modulated sensing signals using at least some of the assistance information.
