Dynamic content encoding

A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions, which when executed by at least one computing device, cause the at least one computing device to perform operations including:

• generating an output stream of compressed textual data, wherein the compressed textual data is generated by:
• preprocessing an input text to alter the input text into altered input text;
• processing each respective byte of the altered input text bit-by-bit in order from most significant bit to least significant bit to generate an n-byte length context and a word context;
• while processing each respective byte:
• predicting a subsequent bit based on the n-byte length context and a prediction model corresponding to the n-byte length,
• predicting the subsequent bit based on the word context and a prediction model corresponding to the word context, and
• combining a plurality of predictions of the subsequent bit to generate a final prediction for the subsequent bit;
• and
• providing the output stream to another device over a communication interface.

A device including an input, an output, a memory and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory, the at least one processor configured to:

• generate an output stream of compressed textual data, the output stream including:
• a first portion including an indicator that compression is used on the output stream;
• and
• a second portion including the compressed textual data, wherein the compressed textual data is generated by:
• preprocessing an input text to alter the input text into altered input text;
• processing each byte of the altered input text bit-by-bit in order from most significant bit to least significant bit to generate an n-byte length context and a word context;
• while processing each byte:
• predicting a subsequent bit based on the n-byte length context and a prediction model corresponding to the n-byte length,
• predicting the subsequent bit based on the word context and a prediction model corresponding to the word context, and
• combining a plurality of predictions of the subsequent bit to generate a final prediction for the subsequent bit;
• if the final prediction determines the subsequent bit, then skipping the subsequent bit;
• and
• provide the output stream to another device over a communication interface.
