Abstract
A method for producing carbon monoxide, the method may comprise the steps of: (a) preparing an adsorption-conversion catalyst comprising a support, and an additive comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal and an alkaline earth metal, supported on the support, and not substantially comprising Ni, Fe, Co, Cr, Cu, Ru, In, Rh, Pt, Au, and Pd elements; (b) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst into contact with a gas containing carbon dioxide to allow the adsorption-conversion catalyst to capture carbon dioxide; and (c) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst to which carbon dioxide is captured into contact with a reducing gas to produce carbon monoxide.
Claims14
A production method for producing carbon monoxide;
- the production method comprising the steps of:
- (a) preparing an adsorption-conversion catalyst, which is one or more selected from the group consisting of Na/Al2O3, K/Al2O3, and Na/ZrO2, wherein Al2O3 and ZrO2 are supports, and Na and K are additives,
- and which not substantially comprising
- Ni, Fe, Co, Cr, Cu, Ru, In, Rh, Pt, Au, and Pd elements;
- (b) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst into contact with a gas containing carbon dioxide to allow the adsorption-conversion catalyst to capture the carbon dioxide;
- and
- (c) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst to which the carbon dioxide is captured into contact with a reducing gas to produce carbon monoxide.
A production method for producing carbon monoxide, the production method comprising the steps of:
- (a) preparing an adsorption-conversion catalyst consisting essentially of one or more selected from the group consisting of Na/Al2O3, K/Al2O3, and Na/ZrO2, wherein Al2O3 and ZrO2 are supports, and Na and K are additives;
- (b) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst into contact with a gas containing carbon dioxide to allow the adsorption-conversion catalyst to capture the carbon dioxide;
- and
- (c) bringing the adsorption-conversion catalyst to which the carbon dioxide is captured into contact with a reducing gas to produce carbon monoxide.
