Abstract
An ink jet recording device of the present disclosure is an ink jet recording device including an ink amount detection device that includes a container internally having an accommodation space that accommodates an ink jet ink composition, a first electrode and at least one second electrode disposed to face each other via the accommodation space, and a capacitance detection unit detecting a capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode using a mutual capacity method, in which the ink jet ink composition has an electrical conductivity of 10.0 mS/cm or less.
Claims7
An ink jet recording device comprising:
- an ink amount detection device that includes
- a container internally having an accommodation space that accommodates an ink jet ink composition;
- a first electrode and at least one second electrode disposed to face each other via the accommodation space;
- and
- a capacitance detection unit detecting a capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode using a mutual capacity method,
- wherein the ink jet ink composition has an electrical conductivity of 10.0 mS/cm or less,
- wherein the ink jet ink composition contains at least one of a yellow dye represented by Formula (1), a black dye represented by Formula (2), and a magenta dye represented by Formula (3),
- wherein in Formula (1), M represents Na or Li,
- wherein in Formula (2), M represents Li, and
- wherein in Formula (3), M represents NH4 or Na;
- and
- wherein the first electrode and the second electrode are each covered by an insulating layer, and the insulating layer is covered by an electromagnetic shield.
