Abstract
A medicine for improving the state of pregnancy, which contains a compound of general formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient; and a use of the medicine:

A method for ameliorating condition of sterility or infertility in a human female subject who suffers sterility or infertility and is free from blood sugar abnormalities,
- wherein said human female subject is selected from the group consisting of:
- (i) a repeated implantation failure (RIF) patient with an increased Th1/Th2 cell ratio compared to a normal person with respect to sterility;
- (ii) a patient who is unable to have pregnancy established, and in which a clear increase in the hCG level is not observed, even after embryo transplantation or intracytoplasmic sperm injection was carried out several times with respect to sterility;
- (iii) a patient who is subjected to transplantation of an embryo obtained by in vitro fertilization with respect to sterility and infertility;
- and
- (iv) a patient who is subjected to freeze-thawed embryo transplantation (FET) with respect to sterility and infertility;
- said method comprising administering a medicament comprising tacrolimus or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient in a therapeutically effective amount to the subject.
