Abstract
A system for managing treatment of a person in need of emergency assistance is provided. The system includes at least one camera configured to be mounted to a person in need of medical assistance. The system also includes an image processing device, which can be configured to receive images captured by the at least one camera and to process the images to generate a representation of a rescue scene surrounding the person. The system further includes an analysis device. The analysis device can be configured to determine a characteristic associated with a resuscitation activity based on analysis of the representation of the rescue scene generated by the image processing device. A computer-implemented method for managing treatment of a person in need of emergency assistance is also provided.
Claims35
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- at least one local computing device configured to receive the captured images from the at least one camera, the at least one local computing device comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images;
- and
- at least one remote computing device or server in communication with the at least one local computing device comprising an image processor and a visual display, wherein the image processor is configured to:
- continuously or periodically receive the captured images from the at least one local computing device,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images and to distinguish between a face of a rescuer, a face of a patient, or a face of a bystander in the captured images,
- modify the captured images to partially or entirely anonymize the identified at least one face of one or more of the rescuer, the patient, or the bystander in the captured images, and
- cause the visual display to display one or more of the modified captured images.
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- at least one local computing device configured to receive the captured images from the at least one camera, the at least one local computing device comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images;
- and
- at least one remote computing device or server in communication with the at least one local computing device comprising an image processor and a visual display, wherein the image processor of the at least one remote computing device is configured to:
- continuously or periodically receive the captured images from the at least one local computing device,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images,
- analyze the captured images to identify one or more medical devices or tools in the captured images,
- modify the captured images to partially or entirely anonymize the identified at least one face in the captured images,
- generate labels for the identified one or more medical devices or tools, and
- cause the visual display to display one or more of the modified captured images and the generated labels proximate to the identified one or more medical devices or tools in the modified captured images.
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- at least one local computing device configured to receive the captured images from the at least one camera, the at least one local computing device comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images;
- and
- at least one remote computing device or server in communication with the at least one local computing device comprising an image processor and a visual display, wherein the image processor is configured to:
- continuously or periodically receive the captured images from the at least one local computing device,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one rescuer in the captured images,
- determine at least one task being performed by the at least one rescuer based on the analysis of the captured images based, at least in part, on a position of the at least one rescuer relative to a patient and/or medical devices at the rescue scene, and
- cause the visual display to display one or more of the modified captured images and information about the at least one task being performed by the at least one rescuer along with the one or more modified captured images.
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- at least one local computing device configured to receive the captured images from the at least one camera, the at least one local computing device comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images;
- and
- at least one remote computing device or server in communication with the at least one local computing device comprising an image processor and a visual display, wherein the image processor is configured to:
- receive a user preference for privacy comprising a selection of personal features considered to be confidential entered on the at least one remote computing device or server,
- continuously or periodically receive the captured images from the at least one local computing device,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images,
- modify the captured images to partially anonymize the identified at least one face in the captured images to a degree determined based on the received user preference, and
- cause the visual display to display one or more of the modified captured images.
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- and
- at least one local computing device in communication with the at least one camera comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images from the at least one local computing device to at least one remote computing device or server and at least one processor configured to:
- receive the captured images from the at least one camera,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images and to distinguish between a face of a rescuer, a face of a patient, or a face of a bystander in the captured images,
- modify the captured images to partially or entirely anonymize the identified at least one face of one or more of the rescuer, the patient, or the bystander in the captured images, and
- cause the wired or wireless transmitter to transmit one or more of the modified captured images to the at least one remote computing device or server.
A system for monitoring actions at a rescue scene, the system comprising:
- at least one camera configured to capture images of the rescue scene;
- and
- at least one local computing device in communication with the at least one camera comprising a wired or wireless transmitter configured to transmit the received captured images from the at least one local computing device to at least one remote computing device or server and at least one processor configured to:
- receive a user preference for privacy comprising a selection of personal features considered to be confidential entered via a user interface of the at least one local computing device,
- receive the captured images from the at least one camera,
- analyze the captured images to identify at least one face in the captured images,
- modify the captured images to partially anonymize the identified at least one face to a degree determined based on the received user preference, and
- cause the wired or wireless transmitter to transmit one or more of the modified captured images to the at least one remote computing device or server.
