Abstract
Disclosed is a wearable medical device comprising a harness configured to be worn about a torso of a subject, a therapy electrode assembly configured to be attached to the harness, and a multi-channel accelerometer coupled to the therapy electrode assembly, the multi-channel accelerometer configured to provide signals indicative of heart sounds of the subject on at least one channel, and to provide signals indicative of one or more of respiration, position, and activity level of the subject on another channel different from the at least one channel. The wearable medical device is configured to transmit at least data regarding the heart sounds to an external system for processing and analysis.
Claims20
A wearable medical device comprising:
- a harness configured to be worn about a torso of a subject;
- a therapy electrode assembly configured to be attached to the harness;
- and
- a multi-channel accelerometer coupled to the therapy electrode assembly, the multi-channel accelerometer configured to provide signals indicative of heart sounds of the subject on at least one channel, and to provide signals indicative of one or more of respiration, position, and activity level of the subject on another channel different from the at least one channel,
- the wearable medical device configured to transmit at least data regarding the heart sounds to an external system for processing and analysis.
