Abstract
Disclosed is a wet duster module for a cleaner including: a water supply nozzle for discharging water from the water tank to the duster, and the water supply nozzle includes: a nozzle body having a water outlet for discharging water to the duster at one end thereof, and as the water outlet is formed to be inclined, waterdrops forming on and blocking the water outlet may be prevented and clogging the water outlet with foreign substances contained in the waterdrops, as the formed waterdrops are dried up, may be prevented.
Claims18
A wet duster module for a cleaner comprising:
- a module housing that defines at least one or more suction flow paths configured to carry air containing dust;
- a rotary cleaning unit disposed on a lower surface of the module housing, the rotary cleaning unit comprising (i) at least one or more rotating plates configured to couple to a duster and (ii) a driving motor configured to provide rotational force to the at least one or more rotating plates;
- and
- a water supply unit provided in the module housing and configured to supply water to the duster,
- wherein the water supply unit comprises:
- a water tank mounted on the module housing and configured to store water supplied to the rotary cleaning unit, and
- a water supply nozzle configured to discharge water from the water tank to the duster,
- wherein the water supply nozzle comprises a nozzle body that defines (i) a water supply path configured to carry water introduced from the water tank and (ii) a water outlet provided at an end of the water supply path and configured to discharge water to the duster,
- wherein the water supply path extends parallel to an axial direction of a rotation axis of the at least one or more rotating plates,
- wherein the nozzle body has an inclined surface that is disposed at the end of the water supply path, that is inclined with respect to the axial direction by a predetermined angle, and that defines the water outlet in an elliptical shape,
- wherein the water outlet has a first vertex and a second vertex in a long axis direction of the elliptical shape and provides a height difference along the axial direction between the first vertex and the second vertex
- wherein the nozzle body is configured to, based on operation of the water supply unit being stopped, guide waterdrops at the water outlet to fall along the inclined surface, and
- wherein the water supply nozzle further comprises a waterdrop guide wall extending along the axial direction from one end of the nozzle body to guide a flow of waterdrops formed on the water outlet away from the nozzle body.
