Abstract
A method for performing a real-time response hydrogen-charging process in a hydrogen-charger may comprise the steps of: calculating a pressure loss coefficient value in a charging line to be applied to a real case; calculating the inner diameter value of the charging line to be applied to the real case, on the basis of the calculated pressure loss coefficient value, a preset reference pressure loss coefficient value in a reference case, and a preset inner diameter value of a reference charging line in the reference case; and performing the hydrogen-charging process by applying the calculated inner diameter value of the charging line to a predetermined thermodynamic model for real-time hydrogen-charging in the real case.
Claims9
A method of executing a real-time responding (RTR) hydrogen fueling process by a hydrogen dispenser, the method comprising:
- calculating a pressure loss coefficient value in a fueling line of a RTR hydrogen fueling protocol to be applied to a real case;
- calculating an inner diameter value of the fueling line of the RTR hydrogen fueling protocol for simulation to apply in the real case based on the calculated pressure loss coefficient value, a reference pressure loss coefficient value for a reference case, and a reference inner diameter value for the reference case;
- and
- executing the RTR hydrogen fueling process by applying the calculated inner diameter value to a predetermined thermodynamic model for the RTR hydrogen fueling protocol,
- wherein the reference pressure loss coefficient value and the reference inner diameter value are predetermined based on conditions that a temperature of a hydrogen tank is 85° C. and a state of charge (SOC) of the hydrogen tank is 95% at a point in time when hydrogen fueling is finished in a fueling line of the reference case.
A hydrogen dispenser for executing a real-time responding (RTR) hydrogen fueling process, the hydrogen dispenser comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a dispenser controller configured to calculate a pressure loss coefficient value in a fueling line of a RTR hydrogen fueling protocol to be applied to a real case,
- wherein the dispenser controller is configured to:
- calculate an inner diameter value of the fueling line of the RTR hydrogen fueling protocol for simulation to apply in the real case based on the calculated pressure loss coefficient value, a reference pressure loss coefficient value for a reference case, and a reference inner diameter value for the reference case, the reference pressure loss coefficient value and the reference inner diameter value being stored in the memory;
- and
- execute the RTR hydrogen fueling process by applying the calculated inner diameter value to a predetermined thermodynamic model for the RTR hydrogen fueling protocol,
- wherein the reference pressure loss coefficient value and the reference inner diameter value are predetermined based on conditions that a temperature of a hydrogen tank is 85° C. and a state of charge (SOC) of the hydrogen tank is 95% at a point in time when hydrogen fueling is finished in a fueling line of the reference case.
