Abstract
A sintered body including zirconia containing a stabilizer, wherein the sintered body has a monoclinic fraction of 0.5% or more and has a three-point bending strength of more than 1450 MPa as measured by a three-point bending test according to JIS R 1601.

A sintered body comprising zirconia containing a stabilizer, wherein the sintered body has a monoclinic fraction of 0.5% or more and has a three-point bending strength of more than 1450 MPa as measured by a three-point bending test according to JIS R 1601, and a shift value, defined as a difference between a 2θ value of a peak appearing at 2θ=152±2.0 degrees with a tilt angle φ=0 degrees and a 2θ value of a peak appearing at 2θ=152±2.0 degrees with a tilt angle φ=45°, of 0.15 degrees or more, and wherein
- a stabilizer content is 1.0% or more by mole and less than 2.5% by mole.
